Hello friends and colleagues. I’m taking on a challenge in March 2014 for to support women and girls in developing countries, who from as young as 3 have to spend their days walking to fetch water for their family.
I will be ‘Walking In Her Shoes’ for a week, which means I will wear a pedometer and walk at least 10,000 steps a day (about 5 miles). I am hoping to raise money to help provide safe water nearer to families who currently have to trek for miles every day to fetch water. Please help me help them by giving whatever you can using the ‘Give Now’ button. The more people that know about CARE International UK, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family.
Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
You can give as little as £5 – sponsor me here https://walkinhershoes.everydayhero.com/uk/jenny-2 or why not join me.
This is the first of my fundraising challenges for 2014, there will be many others, as I would like to raise £5000 for women and girls who need it. If you have any ideas or would like to join me in this mission, let me know firstname.lastname@example.org
